Procedure
for Application
Application for Export Licence for timber
& timber products has to be made by submitting the
following documents : |

2 Pindaan 8/89 (duly completed) - 8 Copies
|
|
|
Authorization Letter (Borang B)
issued by Custom Department - For appointment of
signatory for application form(Compulsory for first
application & for change or request for additional
signature).

|
Borang
Lampiran A4 (issued by Custom Department) - for
approval of fowarding agent.
|
|
|
Borang
Kawalan Pertukaran Wang Asing (KPWX) - for export
of value exceeding RM100,000.00
|
|
|
Shipping Order
|
|
|
Invoice
|
|
|
FOR
EXPORT OF LOGS
- Removal / Transit Pass issued by Sarawak
Forestry Corporation.
- Log Specification (Copy only)
- Letter of Approval/Export Permit (Copy only)
issued by Forest Department for species which are restricted
for export e.g Sepetir.

|
For
Export of SAWNTIMBER :
- STIDC Grading Certificate
- Declaration Form, if volume of sawntimber
indicated in Grading Certificate exceeded volume indicated
in Custom Form 2.
|

|
For
Export of RAMIN DOWEL & MOULDING:
- Letter of approval to export Ramin Dowel &
Moulding from Sarawak Forestry Corporation & CITES
Certificates Issued By Forest Department.

|
For
Export of TREATED WOODEN POLES:
- Removal Pass dan Timber Specification
(copy only) issued by Sarawak Forestry Corporation.
- Verification of treatment issued by
Sarawak Forestry Corporation
- Stock & Export Records for treated wooden
poles of exporter |

Subject to applicant having complied
with the neccessary procedure, export licence shall
be issued within 3 days from date of receiving application.
